Over Christmas I wanted to take the time to detox my mind from my mobile phone.
Emails, texts, social media, work, sports news, stock news and dancing cat videos all had to take a back seat for a 2 week period as I made an attempt to improve my ‘mental diet’ and avoid my phone.
This also gave me the chance to read more, learn more and connect with people, I guess you could say, it simply gave me the chance to engage in the present moment.
