Creating Motivational Environments

Do you want to be motivated? Do you want to be able to motivate others? If so, this podcast gives you practical advice that will allow you to create environments that result in motivation.

Not only will this podcast teach you how to do this, it highlights the dangers of not engaging in or creating motivational environments that suit an individuals needs, such as mental burn out, stress and anxiety.

All too often I find the athletes, children, business men and women I work with are so focused on becoming the next Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods or Bill Gates, that they forget the human elements of engaging in a sport, or learning a new skill. They work so hard too ‘achieve’ that they forget to enjoy the process of learning and lose their motivation. This often leads to people quitting, burning out and in some extreme cases causes stress, anxiety or worse.

After reading a book written by Kate Fagan, ‘What Made Maddy Run’, I set myself the goal of remembering that every student of mine is a person. First and foremost comes their happiness and enjoyment as an individual, then if they choose (and remain motivated to do so), we can seek greatness and mastery in an optimal way.

Enjoy fining out more about a 3 step process that you or your students can engage in, that will lead to increased and maintained motivation.
